I can't see the entire iLumina's interface on my screen

iLumina requires a monitor capable of displaying 1024 x 768 resolution. Most monitors can display that resolution, but some cannot. Follow these steps to determine whether yours can:

  1. Exit out of any programs that are running.
  2. Right-click on any empty area of the desktop.
  3. Click PROPERTIES in the drop-down menu.
  4. In the resulting Display Properties Control Panel, click the SETTINGS tab.
  5. In the SCREEN AREA section (near the bottom-right), drag the slider until it reads '1024 by 768 pixels'. (If you're unable to drag the slider to a position that reads '1024 by 768 pixels', then the graphics card hardware in your computer is not capable of displaying 1024 x 768 resolution. Run iLumina on a different computer.)
  6. Click APPLY.
  7. At this point, Windows asks you to continue or not. Click OK.

If your screen displays correctly after clicking OK, then your monitor is capable of displaying 1024 x 768 resolution, and you're ready to launch iLumina.

If you have problems executing these steps, feel free to take a screen capture of your monitor display, and forward it as a JPEG to us at Technical Support at iluminainfo@tyndale.com -- the screen capture could help us visualize better what you're seeing on your screen.

If, however, your screen displays badly after clicking OK, then even though the computer hardware supports the resolution, the monitor does not. In this case, wait 15 seconds for Windows to revert to the original settings. You'll need to connect a different monitor to the computer to run iLumina. A monitor with these characteristics is actually a low end one costing less than $100 dollars (please check PC Connection). When we decided to develop a product requiring 1024 x 768 we first made sure that computers capable of running this resolution would be the norm among computer users.
