After upgrading to Gold, iLumina 1.0 launches instead of Gold when double clicking the icon on the desktop. Why?
In the beginning of the installation, the installer will detect if there is a previous version of iLumina already installed and will ask if you want to uninstall it. If you select "NO", the original icon of iLumina 1.0 will remain on the desktop and will still work as before launching the old program.
If you selected "YES" to delete iLumina 1.0, and you still have the original icon, there's a chance that the previous version wasn't completely uninstalled.
You can have both versions of iLumina on your computer at the same time if you like, and they will each work independently of one another. Since the new version includes everything 1.0 had (plus much more), you may decide to uninstall it to save hard disk space.
