After the installation, the animation window is a white screen and the virtual tours don’t work.

You probably don't have a proper installation of QuickTime 6.4. iLumina requires at least QuickTime 6.3 in order to play the Animations, Virtual Tours, Guided Tours, and Points in Time. You can determine whether QuickTime 6.3 or better is installed (on Windows) by checking the following:
Step 1.
Click the START button
Step 2.
Scroll to SETTINGS
Step 3.
Click CONTROL PANEL
Step 4.
Double-click the QUICKTIME Control Panel to open it.

If you don't find a QuickTime Control Panel, this means QuickTime is definitely not installed correctly. If that's the case, run the QuickTime installer again separately (as opposed to within the iLumina installer). See below for directions on how to do this. If you do find the QUICKTIME Control Panel, click the popup menu at the top, then click ABOUT QUICKTIME. You'll then see the version that's installed on your computer. If it doesn't read "QuickTime 6.3" (or a higher version number), follow the directions below to run the QuickTime installer again.

To run the QuickTime installer:
Step 1.
Right click the iLumina Gold (or 2.0) icon on your desktop
Step 2.
Click Properties in the popup menu
Step 3.
Click the Find Target button
Step 4.
Double Click the ThirdParty folder to open it.

Step 5.
Double Click the Quicktime folder to open it.
Step 6.
Double Click the QuicktimeInstaller.exe file to launch the installer.
Step 7.
Follow the instructions to install QuickTime. Be sure to install ALL QuickTime components.

NOTE: you don't need to enter a registration number when installing QuickTime. Although the QuickTime installer allows you to enter a registration key if you want to upgrade to QuickTime Pro, the iLumina discs include the free version of QuickTime. You do not need to purchase QuickTime Pro to use iLumina.

Quicktime will be then added to the list of programs and you can be able to select it as the player that will play .mp4 files)
